以下の2点を確認して見てください。
1．「/etc/sasldb2」は作成されているか？
以下の設定を再度確認して見てください。

2．postfix設定ファイル「/etc/postfix/main.cf」を変更して見る
設定ファイル内の属性名「smtpd_sasl_local_domain」の値を変更
値を「$mydomain」または「$myhostname」にする。(postfixサービス再起動要)

お世話になります。

作成していませんでしたので作成しました。
設定ファイルの変更(64bit版の場合)
# vi /usr/lib64/sasl2/smtpd.conf
私のサーバマシンがＡＭＤですのでCentOS5をダウンロードする際CentOS-5.0-x86_64-binを選択しました
ので上記のファイルを作成しました。
>2．postfix設定ファイル「/etc/postfix/main.cf」を変更して見る
この設定は
smtpd_sasl_local_domain = $myhostname
に変更していました。
maillogはこのとおりです。

Outlook Expressで送信したときのエラーメッセージが以下のように表示されています。
サーバーは接続を解除しました。 サーバーまたはネットワークに問題があるか、または
アイドル時間が長すぎた可能性があります。 アカウント : 'ishi', サーバー : '192.1
68.24.171', プロトコル : SMTP, ポート : 25, セキュリティ (SSL): なし, エラー番号
: 0x800CCC0F
ググって調べていますが解決は出来ませんね・・・・・。

この２行からだとSASL関連が足らない？様にも見受けられますね。
以下の実行結果を教えて下さい。

大変ご迷惑をかけて申し訳ありませんでした。
私なりに試行錯誤を重ねてきましたがもう分けが分からなくなりました。
再度、初心に帰ってＯＳのインストールからやり直してみます。
