色々と調べていたのですがクローズされてしまいましたので再オープンさせて頂きました。
(解決されたのでしょうか？)
恐らく、logwatchに出力されたものと、メールログの内容は関係なさそうです。
メールログは以前のスレッド(以下参照)でご返信させて頂いた物と思われます。

logwatchは不明です。
/etc/freshclam.confの内容を明記して頂けますか？
それと、「/etc/clamd.conf」って存在していますか？(当方にはありません)

そうでした、あとでこの部分は気がつきました。

特に、おかしな所はありませんね。当方の内容と全く同じです。
「/var/log/freshclam.log」に定義ファイル更新結果が出力されますが、以下の様なログはありますか？

はい、ありました。
ちゃんと定義ファイル更新がされているみたいです。
どうもエラーの要因はClamAVではないみたいですね。
