はじめまして。アニエスと申します。
FedoraCore6で、自宅サーバを構築しようとしています。
わたしはUNIX系(?)OSをほとんど知らない初心者でして、
サーバには必要最小限のソフトのみインストールする方が
よいのでしょうが、よくわからないので、ほとんどすべての
パッケージをインストールしています。(^^;
「DHCPサーバの構築(DHCP)」を参考にしながら、
(というかほぼそのまま適用しながら)
DHCPサーバの構築を試みていますが、うまくいきません。
こちらの環境は、以下のとおりです。
インターネット−−ADSLモデム(Yahoo!BB)−−ルータ(corega BAR SW-4P Pro)−−サーバPC・クライアントPC(2台)
サーバPCのOS ⇒ FedoraCore6
クライアントPCのOS ⇒ Windows2000, WindowsXP(SP2)
ネットワークアダプタ(NIC)×２ ⇒ eth0(外部向け⇒未使用), eth1(内部向け)
ISP ⇒ Yahoo!BB
ルータのIPアドレス⇒ 192.168.1.1(DHCP機能 ⇒ 無効)
サーバのIPアドレス⇒ 192.168.1.2
編集した/etc/dhcpd.confの内容は、以下のとおりです。

↑ ここに取得ドメイン名(VALUEDOMAIN)を指定したりコメントアウトしたり。。。。

・プロバイダから通知されたDNSサーバのIPアドレス(プライマリ,セカンダリ)を指定
・192.168.1.2（サーバのアドレス）
などいろいろ変更して何度かチャレンジ しかしいずれも同じ結果

その後、
/etc/rc.d/init.d/dhcpd start
を実行すると。。。。
dhcpd を起動中: [ 失敗 ]
一瞬で「失敗」が返ってきます。
GUIの「サーバ設定」⇒「Services」より、手動で起動しようとしても、
マウスポインタがずっと「待ち」の状態になり、起動しません。
ランレベルは５です。
なんとなく、細かいことじゃなく、超根本的になにか間違っている
ような気もしますが。。。。
なかなか煮詰まっています。。。。
何かヒントはありませんでしょうか。。。。
こちらの環境や設定に関しての情報が少なすぎるのであれば、
具体的に聞いていただければお答えいたします。

ログを見る限りでは30行目の「# range dynamic-bootp 192.168.0.128 192.168.0.254;」がおかしいと言っていますが、
コメント行であるし、仮にコメントが外れていたとしても他のエラー「ネットワーク部が合っていない」と出るはずです。
全角のスペースが入ってしまっているとかありませんか？
もしくは、この行を削除して起動し直してみてください。

レンジを指定する
range dynamic-bootp 192.168.1.11 192.168.1.254;
の行の冒頭に全角スペースが入ってましたっ。
修正したら、フツウに起動しましたっ。
単純なコトだったのね。。。。。
